Exhaust carbon shield

Has anybody fitted a carbon exhaust cover to an f1 ? I'm sure I've seen one but I can't for the life of me find anybody who sells them .

They are probably silly money if they are available but I do think it makes the back end stand out .

Thoughts ?

just note you can get the real thing or plasti dip which i think is what most have done .

But good luck getting in touch with them, or indeed getting them to actually make anything. Not to mention their build 'quality' seems to be a bit hit-and-miss.

It's mental imo, but yes that's what they cost.

Have a Streamline one on ours. It's quite old now I think. They seem to have gone downhill a bit recently but ours is beautifully made. Finish is perfect and there is not a hint of a wobble in the weave.

Second hand is probably your best bet but they're rare as hell.

Have you thought about getting an OEM diffuser carbon covered by someone like C6 Carbon? They use real carbon fibre to effectively laminate the original item. Yes it won't be 100% CF part and benefit from the weight saving but I'd imagine it's more for aesthetics you want one anyway? Would be substantially cheaper than a £1000 too at a guess.

They did some stuff for my old M3 and I was really impressed by their work.
