Engine bay squeak

Hi,

The car has started a squeak, its only when idling. I've tried squirting some water on the drivebelt but the noise remains.

I'm going to replace the drivebelt tomorrow and see if it goes.

If it doesn't what else could the problem be?

I figured out what it is. A soon as I rest my foot on the clutch it stops squeaking. So how much is it for a new clutch to be fitted?

I'd say around £500...

After doing some research it looks like it is just the slave, found a brand new one for £40. Still a costly job to do though
