Electric Fault

Hi all,

My 200 has developed an issue, my gf slams my passenger door every time she gets in or out. The door light has now removed itself from its position and a message on the dash says electrical fault. None of the electrics work now except the driver display. Has anyone had a similar issue?

Hi. I had a similar issue.
I ditched that bitch first time she slammed that door.

That really made me laugh - but in all seriousness I get very protective over my cars. We got a dog a few months ago but he is banned from getting in to my Megane 280.

Sorry - I am of no use solving your electrical problem. If you have CLIP you could try plugging it in to see if that throws up any faults, failing that a cheap OBD fault reader?

In all seriousness though you've probably blown a fuse for the lighting...
