ECU fail at the Ring?

So this happened at the ring today. Sudden strange noise, loss of power, engine cut out, interior lights came on and now cant even get the windows to close. Had it OBD read and the garage are saying its an ECU fail?

Anyone able to give me any idea what the hell has happened or could be the cause? Looks like its going to be an expensive trip home......
