Door handle button removal?

I have the door handle off, just wondering if the button for locking the car can come out or not

Yes the handle can be dismantled but the button is a gel filled and sealed if you take it apart it will just corrode

Quite a easy job. Take a look at the instructions on the forum and they are pretty spot on. Only a couple torx screws and pop the door card off. Just be careful with the counter weight because it can come up clipped (I speak from experience)

I used some plastic trim tools to split the handle plastics apart.
The switches are available for about £2 from Poland, I just bought 6 as the majority of the cost is postage.

I think the Meganne internals are for sale the blue receiver and the wired button but I have no idea if they are compatible BT use gel connector for telephone cables if you want to splice in a new button I used them before on the wing mirror temperature sensor instead of pulling everything through there is a gel inside to stop water penetration and you put the wires in and press the gel connector.
