Do Standard Mirrors Manually Fold Back??

I'm going to be moving into a new house soon and when I took my 197 to the new house to trial fit it in the garage there wasn't much clearance between the mirrors and the garage door frame.

Don't get me wrong , the 197 fits in nicely enough but I was wondering if the standard mirrors can be folded back by hand to give myself some extra room so that I don't have to be ultra careful every time I manouvre it in or out.

I've had a quick go and they seem fixed so I don't want to force them without knowing if they are meant to fold in or not.

Think mine were fixed on the 200 but might be wrong.

As above.

I always fold mine inwards when i park anywhere, d**kheads round here like to kick them off if you leave them out.

They will be stiff if never been folded before.

Yeh they will go either way,
As said before, just give it a push towards the boot.
