degraded performance

I've got a slight problem with my 197, i seem to be down on power pretty considerably right now however the engine still sounds normal.

I've checked the coil packs and the 2nd coil pack does move around slightly however the others are solid with no movement.

Could anything else be causing the loss of power at all before i have this checked out?

I had an inkling that I was down on power recently which was confirmed on a dyno. Only about 10% but noticeable none the less. I changed spark plugs, camshaft sensor and put a newish catalytic converter on. Back to normal after these procedures. Not sure which solved it though!

Good luck with finding it. It won't be an expensive fix it'll just be finding exactly what it is that needs fixing..

Plugs were last changed about 1 year ago now with NGK Platinum plugs, no idea how good they are however it's what i was recommended by a friend.

Check easy things like fox speed said. Plugs air filter etc
Check fault codes. All things you can do yourself

I will be doing that tomorrow, i have a k&n air filter in which needs cleaning i'm sure since it has about 20k on it now.

doesn't display any fault codes on my bluetooth obd2 scanner however i don't know how reliable it is.
