decat side effects

what could be the side effects by removing the 2nd cat?

Higher emissions so could potentially fail that test, flat
Spot is really bad and not sure but I think it’ll fail the new mot if they know what they’re looking for

naa then nevermind(mot is ok i can pass it) but f.s is terrible no thx .
what could i do to get more pops ?
i have super sprint backbox and full oe exhaust beside that
the sound is fantastic but hardly poping..
and wouldnt say no to alittle more louder :x

My previous gordini was equipped with akrapovic evolution exhaust. There was no any problems to pass mot, HC was little high 50ppm.
There is no middle cat when you have akrapovic evo full system.
No flatspots..

Remove precat and main cat,with only decat you won't see much pops mine is full decat on stock manifold ( only precat core removed ) and decat ( on stock exhaust) and when I change gear I hear bangs
But with precat and decat you will definately need remap...because you will have flatspot and bad fuel economy :/

Most of the flatspot can be removed through a map looking at the before and after torque curves of cars that have been on a dyno. Whether more power is available higher up the rev range is marginal, Id like to see before and after dyno sheet with just a 2nd decat to compare really, although I understand you want more pops.
