Cutting dashboard for cage

I need to cut the dash (cup/pov spec) to clear the cage and wondered what people had used to trim it. I've got a spare 'padded' dash to practice/mock up on but I wasn't sure if it was a case of attacking it with a jigsaw or it's possible to get a neat finish with a hole saw or something completely different.

Personally I just used a Dremel with a cutting disc and a sanding drum to finish. Take your time with and do a bit at a time if you want a neat finish. Hardest bit I found was taking the dash in and out of the car to see if it fits. Have a good and see
