Correct Elf Oil?

Can anyone tell me what oil Renault actually put in the Clio Sports from new?

I know its Elf, and fully synthetic, but thats it.

And maybe a link to somewhere I could buy it, or a good alternative?

Does anyone use Elf as recommended???

fully synthetic is best for these engines mate. aslong as its 5w 40

I asked at Renault for a gallon of the Elf stuff that was in the top up bottle in my car, they said they dont use it the Elf stuff is only put in at the factory! My local dealer uses Total of some sort lol

There are various brands that are Renault Approved, find the right spec and take your pick
