I'm sure I've read somewhere in here that someone did that, basically converted the cornering lights to DRLs. This is something I would be interested in doing and since my cornering lights do not work (my car didn't come with this option however I've got the projector headlights) it would be a good idea to utilize the extra bulb.
I was thinking of buying a good pair of H7 LED bulbs and have the wiring done so as to switch on with the engine and switch off when the lights are on. How many watts would do the job? I've seen bulbs ranging from 5-80W! Obviously 80W would be an overkill, I believe that for the purposes of this application 20W would be more or less allright?
Any links to the above-mentioned thread and any ideas/opinions appreciated.
