Coolant needs topping up, which one?

The coolant currently in my car is pink in colour.

Renault didn't change the coolant last service it could do with a top up.
last time it was changed was last year by Ren7oaks (specialist)

i understand there's a few types and they don't play nice.
Anyone know what one I should look at that will be alright with the coolant currently in it as its next service is due in a few K so no point in changing it all.

sounds like it has "oat" type coolant in it - so top up with that

you can also get a universal coolant that will work with both types if your unsure...

Many thanks
had a discussion going on Facebook that ended the same when I posted a link to the red one halfords sell that's OAT.

Bit concerned that it needs topping up tbh. It's a sealed system so it's either always been low or you've lost some somehow.

It took 10/20 capfuls to top it up so it hasn't lost much (if it ever did) Honestly it may have been at that level for a while and Renault probably didn't touch the coolant because it was fine at that level anyway. It was between the max line and the joint on the header tank. Now it's on the max line.

It's mainly because of the hot weather I even thought to look properly as my normal check is I can see the fluid above the join so its fine.

as you said though I'm keeping an eye on it now to see if it loses any after top up.
