Clueless about sunroofs!

Just a quick thread.
I sadly wrote off my clio 197 ( ls57wea ) bought it off this site on march.
Not my fault haha.
But was just curious. Spied another car on here I'm interested in but no sunroof.
And I quiet liked that features...
Can you get them fitted and is it too much hassle/costly?

no chance, buy the car with got a sunroof.

I've seen people retro-fit them to other cars before, never the Clio but I suppose it would be technically possible. But sod cutting a big hole in my roof to put in a bit of glass! I'd say buy one with it fitted if you really want one.

Yea I thought it might be a bit of trouble not needed. But they're could of been rails under the cloth factory made. Was just curious. I could live without it but just thought it was a nice feature stretching right back. Thanks anyway.

ah yes very true - only availble on the early 197 without cup chassis

i have only seen 2 such equipped!

They just make your head hot. And the old Clio ones rattle like hell! I guess they'll be electric so won't rattle but still, I don't like sunroofs that much.

BenW has one in his UR 197 and i have to say it looks pretty cool
