Clio 200 Cup

Hi Guys, New to the forum, thought I would show my Clio. I bought the car from Co-Part at the end of last year, The listing said front end damage but unrecorded. I couldn't see any damage on the photos so decided to bid, I won the car at a decent price.

Co-part were then in contact stating the seller would like more money to release the car, I stood my ground and stuck to what I had bid, After a few calls and me still standing my ground, I had the car for what I had bid, also finding out in the process it wasn't accident damaged it was the finance company selling trying to recoup money back, Win win.

Collected the car, it was grubby, it was clear the previous owner couldn't afford to pay for the car let alone service it! Plus side, it is a Cup model with Recaro seats and only 75k miles. I brought the car back to Godspeed HQ (My work) put up on my ramp and started to make a list of what needed doing and started going through making sure it was right before I put it in for MOT. This is what I did,

Full service including all belts, dephaser pulley, water pump, Aux tensioner, new alternator, all genuine Renault parts
All new brakes, new rear calipers with G hook discs and Kevlar pads, Front Godspeed 330mm G hook conversion but made bells to be able to swap to Megane 3 RS calipers with EBC RP1 pads
Braided hose kit and fluid changed to ATE Typ 200
Powerflex engine mounts
Radiator support subframe
Scorpion resonated exhaust system (was the lucky one who got one through ECP at the stupid price)
Speedline wheels powder coated gloss black and fitted with new Uniroyal rainsport tyres
PMS wheel spacers
New wheel arch liner to replace the missing drivers side
RS tuner map from Henk

The car passed the Mot with only little advisories which are now sorted, My misses has been using the car daily and is loving it, Covered a few thousand miles with no issues apart from a small exhaust blow which ive now pin pointed to the flexis, they have been changed in the past but the welding is shocking so I will be changing the manifold shortly.

I take the car for a blast on the weekends and its such fun, handles so well, feels a little slow to me but I have a Peugeot 308 GTI as a daily driver which is ballistic so thats understandable. Hoping to take it to Castle Combe for a few track sessions this year to have a bit of fun.

The day after I picked it up from Co-part, Time the clean the crap off and see what I was working with,
