Clio 200 aerial

My radio has literally no reception at all even with an aftermarket alpine stereo. It's a really short aerial, if its any bigger it would hit the rear wing. Any suggestions to improve this? Not sure if this is the standard aerial or not.

The standard aerial hits the cup spoiler, thats how the French made it... I tend not to open the boot fully as its well known for scratching the spoiler.

I have been meaning to try and find a gas strut with less stroke, there must be one from a twingo or something that will do the trick.

That's what I done, bought some clear 3M vinyl to put where the aerial would touch.
