Clio 197 won't start

Hi there a little help needed today please. My 197 won't start, left it it locked over night came to it thus morning and when I opened the door all I get from dashboard display is "neutral not selected" and "steering not locked " and it won't start ???? Any ideas please. Thanks pat.

I'd check the battery first if your not even getting an attempt of the car firing

try turning the steering wheel and holding it down to the left to take it off the steering lock.

I'm prety sure it's not the battery as when I got it started first thing this morning. I tried the obvious of the steering being rocked and rolling car back and forth and she started fine but I've just parked up again in a multi story car park tried it again and it's dead again. But it locks and unlocks fine

CHeck the TDC sensor. Might just need a clean.
