I've just had the UPC replaced on my Clio 197 by my local Renault dealer.
I had the dashboard light up like Xmas tree lights, steering fault, brake fault, service, stop, ABS, ESP & no power steering no indicators.
The dealer said it was damp, I got the "faulty" one back, took the cover off and it looks ok to me.
There's no residue or staining or any sign of water ingress.
Is there anything I can do with this £330 module, can it be rechecked/retested or recycled? Must say I'm apprehensive about retesting it myself.
Would anyone buy my UPC in an untested state.
Also, has anyone ever removed the cornering lights module (on top of n/s front wing under bonnet) I need to remove it because it may also be damp.
Any tips on removal and checking?
