Clio 197 from Estonia

Hi guys!

My name is Kaspar and I'm from Estonia.

So, I decided to show you my '06 Clio 197. I bought it in August 2012 and it had 103k km on the clock (should be about 64k miles). Had it properly maintained and changed the rear brake disks and since then I've enjoyed every bit of it. I love it! Though, a few days ago passanger side window regulator let go and it got stuck in the lowest position. So today I took the door apart and pushed the window back up. It was damn cold to drive around as there was only a few layers of plastic keeping me warm when there is -10'C outside lol.

Here are some pictures I've taken during these few months that I've owned her.

Did some 3M carbon work on the dash since I hated that silver plastic. :tongueout:

Managed to get some track time also. It was my first time ever on a track and it was soaking wet, but it was so damn awesome. Can't wait for the snow to melt and the season to start again.

Right now I'm looking for some coilovers to improve the handling a bit and well... to improve the looks as well. I know they don't come cheap, but which are the cheapest coilovers for 197 available? :tongueout:

All of best
Kaspar

Welcome buddy. Some cracking pictures and some amazing scenery/buildings! Picture 3&5 are my favourite

Thanks for all the kind words about the pictures. This is what I love to do.

But still I have one question. Coilovers. So far, I've found that KW v1 is probably the cheapest way to go?

Welcome to the site!

As for suspension have a look in the technical section for suspension. There is a large thread there for suspension should be of some use to you.

I've seen photo's of your car on stanceworks, please share them here!

Also do you have any better pics to show how far the rear wheels are sticking out without spacers?
I'm going to fit 9,5J wheels at the rear but need to machine the stub axle to make it go inwards a bit.

Maybe your pics can help me to decide how much to machine off

Edit: Shared them myself for the ones interested!
