Citroen washer jets fitted

following on from posting on CS (here)

I managed to fit the Citroen washer jets with a little modification to them! below is what I posted on CS. I may do a guide on where to cut but its common sense! as you can see coverage is much improved! deffo worth the 7quid and 30 minutes it takes

Confirmed these do not fit a MK3 with out modification.

However 30 minutes of cutting with a stanley knife and after a stab wound to the baby finger they finally fitted.

They overshoot just a bit when not moving but at 30mph -80mph they are ace! Got the girlfriend to take a view vids(sorry about the quality lighting is crap today and on the last one I ran out of water fail!)

They seem quite good, how much bodging did you have to do? Lol!

not too much I cut a way a tiny bit of plastic at either side which is waffer thin then had to cut a little more at the back and front. I cocked the first one up so I think I will be getting 2 more - if I do I'll do a guide. I wrapped it once with tape (the one I cut to small) and its fine but we'll see.

I have been dying to get this done for my car! I hate the 4 streams ATM, they are completely useless in this weather! If you are able to do a guide that would be brilliant. Might be a daft question but where/who did you order from? Ebay or from Citroen directly?

Nice work! They do look much improved, with a stronger jet. I've not had any real issues with mine te be fair, just adjustment now and again with a needle to get them in a zig zag but you've come up with a great solution!!

Sadly mate I didn't come up with the solution! I did however alter it to work

I did this on my old car, they're so much better!

You might also find that you can adjust the nozzle down slightly, I think only some of the citroen fan spray ones let you do this though.
