Can't get my wheels off

I can't get my rear wheels off the car took the bolts out and they just don't move off the hub. Anyone help?

(1) Big, foot, kick.

(2) Big, hammer, hit.

(3) If all else fails - off to the local garage for a bigger hammer to hit it whilst on ramp rather than trolley jack / stands.

I say this as just had some wheels refurbed on my daily and came to swap to summer wheels and two would not budge as per yours. Process above is the one I followed. (3) worked.

Needs a light tap from behind with a mallet.

Or

Remove all bolts, and carefully/slowly lower the wheel back down to put some pressure on it, that's what I use

leave the bolts in but all loose and lower it down then you can rock it back and forth to loosen them from the hubs...

You won't believe this but I have done all off that I had the Jack don't until it was not taking any of the weight. As for the mallet I did that and nearly knocked it off the Jack with no luck

If it's that stuck some serious heat has gone into it, or water and it's rusted on.

When you put all the wheels back on remember to put a little Copaslip, or any anti-seize high temperature grease, on the face of the wheel and the hub. You can put a little on the wheel bolt threads too. You'll never have any seizing issues then.

Make sure your car is secure on a trolley Jack and axle stands before doing anything.

Rotate the wheel and give it a firm strike with your foot on the tyre , not alloy. Rotate the wheel and repeat.

You can also try holding the wheel at 9 and 3 and wobbling it side to side , May take some time but I would prefer to do this than start belting things with hammers etc

Get someone to act against the force of the hammer when hitting the wheel from behind so that the car doesn't fall off the jack/stands, it will come off but you have to hit it with some force.
