Cambridgeshire specialists?

Are there any good Indy's around Cambs? Preferably Ely/Huntingdon/Chatteris, although Cambridge itself would do. I've seen mentions of TdF, but no contact details and the only website I can find looks more like an up-market automotive consultancy/race outfit. I've got a few things to sort out (rattly exhaust/heat shields and a decent alignment as the most urgent), but would be useful for future reference too.

I don't think there's any specialists in Cambridgeshire. Have a read up on TdF and make up your own mind, but I personally would give them a miss, and their reputation has taken a bit of a battering recently!

If you are prepared to travel (about 1 hour from Ely), then you won't find a better specialist than Mark Fish down in Harlow.

:thumbup: thanks. Harlow is do-able, particularly with a few bits to do. And I'd much rather have someone who knows what they're doing sort the geo than the average tyre place.

Car booked in with Mark in a couple of weeks time. Very impressed with his walkthrough and approach on the phone - starting with not wanting to just "do" a geo until they've given the car a once over to check nothing else is too worn - not at all unreasonable on an unknown 90k car.

Top service from Mark yesterday :thumbsup:. Car felt much better on the way home, and now have a long "todo" list of little things that were noticed during the inspection :lol: (I like the fact that all were noted, even though they don't need immediate attention), but I may get round to them DIY. It's a bit of a hike, so probably won't make the trek for minor things, but definitely worth it for anything more than a basic service.
