Broken manifold!

How many at this community have had problems with their 197 exhaustsystem?
My right flexi seems to be broken which means a have to replace it with a brand new one(manifold, flexi´s and precat). What a stupid constuction!
Cost: 8500 Kr( 8500/£10,73=£792,17 excl jobs).
I have visited the German site, Richard motorsports.
I think their system looks great, no flexi´s no precat, but the price!
Is there a cheaper system around?
At this moment i which a had a CTR(hope i dont get secluded)

Never seen anyone post about a problem with the manifold but will have a look

My old 197 had the same problem a few years back. There was also another 197 from the same dealer as me that had exactly the same thing.
Not sure too many others have had it though. The manifold and pre-cat split so it was replaced under warranty.

i have heard of this problem on a fair few 197/200's but this has always been replaced by renault, or a local renault dealer, normally its one of the branches that crakcs or brakes, but unusual its the flexi

I'd think your best bet is to try and get it repaired by a custom exhausts place

Yeh i agree, no point in getting a whole new one replaced if you can just get it sorted for less.

a custom exhaust place will be able to cut out the flexi and put a new one in - the hardest job is removing the manifold

Mine did this had to replace the manifold, cost me £650 or something but I haggled with The dealer.
