Bluetooth speaker suggestions

just looking for suggestions on a decent Bluetooth speaker to use in the car where there are no speakers.

I don't like wearing headphones or in ears while I'm driving but bought a cheapo Bluetooth speaker from Tesco just as a trial and can happily manage but the sound is so heavy on the highs and everything else is just flat.

was wondering if anyone else has more experience with Bluetooth speakers and can suggest something that has decent sound quality and possible fit nicely into the double cup holder bit under the centre console

I’ve got an Anker one can’t remember the model, it should fit in the cup holder easily.
what's it like for sound quality? I'm not expecting something miraculous from any speaker this size but the one I got form Tesco just sounds like straight dog

I’ve found what I have… it was ok, I mean mines fully stripped and it was just to get over the drone of everything, not perfect but massively help..

yeah the one I bought doesn't quite have the power to get over the drone sitting at motorway speeds

I have one of these that I bring outdoors for BBQs etc in the summer. It's pretty good

No idea where you'd put it in the car, but it has good sound

well with the little handle can always get a bungie cord and strap it to the roll cage

thinking a larger speaker and some way of fixing it in the back for the journey is going to be the solution for me

I've stuck with the ks hive speaker, I currently have a hive X and it's brilliant. It can go very loud without distorting and has good bass at lower levels, the battery life if great too.

I have an Anker Soundcore Boost https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N4V4X5M/?tag=clio197-21 which has surprisingly good sound quality. My car is completely stripped so I use a couple of command Velcro strips to mount it to the centre tunnel.
it has the added benefit of being a power bank so you can use it to charge your phone etc if you need to.
It has a built in mic so can be used as hands free, and if you really want, you can pair it with a second speaker and run two at the same time.
