Banging from drivers side footwell

My car developed a harsh banging noise from the front drivers side footwell when accelerating from a standstill in first gear can anyone tell me what it could be

It could be the rubber bushes on the steering arms, exhaust manifold knocking, loose suspension, loose bolts on the steering rack, loose brake pads in the calliper, worn engine mount, gear linkage issue and gearbox rocking if not re installed correctly after a refurb, exhaust hangers worn out.

It's probably the 'dogbone' which is a short bracket at the back of the engine below the exhaust manifold which braces the engine to the subframe. If this is knackered it will allow the engine to move too much when you floor it in 1st and then things bang. This is quite common and not expensive to fix.

Other things to look at - Check the subframe mounting bolts as they are under the footwell area (very unlikely to be loose). Also check the bottom suspension arm bushes - particularly the big one at the back of the arm (not unlikely to be worn).
