Hello guys, happy holidays/New Year!
I just got the timing belt replaced together with the auxilary belt, the water pump and all that jazz and now I'm hearing things from the engine that I didn't hear before. Everything's normal up to about 2600 RPM, then the sound changes slightly up to 2800 RPM. After 2800 it changes back to normal again. It seems to be happening only on throttle. It's not a huge change, it doesn't sound as if anything's broken and the car seems to be pulling as before so I don't know what's going on. What I'm sure about is that it didn't sound like this before.
Is there anything in the engine happening at 2800? Cam switchover or something? Anyone experienced something similar?
