anyone got a K&N Apollo Induction Kit

From what I have heard you will loose power, unless you can find a place to run an air intake from. I think Kevo on here has done this.

I would like one of these to, but don't want to loose power...

You are right, but I think that Kevo has got some other CAI together with a small battery (don't remember anymore).

I think Kevo runs the Maxogen? I know that the airfeed for it comes from some trunking that runs to the front wheel arch lining

I had one when I first got my clio, its shit. You lose all your responsiveness and it seems more hesitant when you put your foot down

No, I think he doesn't. He's got something like BMC CDA.

Kev's definately isnt a BMC CDA filter, I'm sure he'll come on and confirm but I'm pretty sure its an ITG Maxogen. He's just customized the intake for it by moving the battery

From the rolling road results I've seen the K&N Apollo gives you a power loss

Here are some of the options for 197:

K&N Apollo

ITG

ITG Maxogen / KTR

And, of course, my favorite - Clio R3/V6 airbox:

No cold air feed to the R3 box though on that pic is there??

Yes, IMHO, that's the biggest problem of the R3 airbox.

Look how they solved it on the cup 200:

I was thinking about rotating the airbox and feeding the cold air through the stock hose. The one that get's its air from the grills (but that plastic hose is also hot).

out of those 4

which is best pound for pound, and which gives best bhp increase ?

just out of interest.
