I recently detailed this Nissan R35 GTR here:
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=253296
It has since had a protection film added to it to protect its front end from stone chips but the owner wasn't happy with some of the marks in the film so asked me to take a look at them for him, and to also carry out a maintenance wash and add further Zaino protection for him...
I was running out of daylight, so not many pics of the wash process.
The car cleaned up very quickly and easily thanks to the strong protection placed on it previously in the form of Zaino Z2 on the paint and Auto Finesse Mint Rims on the wheels, so a gentle foam and Kranzle K7 rinse had it looking 95%+ clean.
Foamed with Hyper Wash:

The car was washed with Zaino Z7, CarPro Mitt and Zaino Bucket System:

It was then moved inside for a touchless drying process using a blower:

This was used to minimise the marring inflicted from the washing process as the paint on these GTR's is very, very soft.
At this point I began to assess the film for defects - a lot of swirling was quite evident:

As I'd never corrected a film before I called Roy of Pro Valeting who works very closely with Paint Shield and I know he had been polishing films recently so was seeking his informed advice. He advised that he'd been getting great results from Auto Finesse Tripple via DA, so I decided to begin with this and see how things progressed.

Very pleasing indeed, so I worked around the rest of the areas which had been protected with this film.

There were other defects present but sadly nothing I could do about these:

The Tripple being an AIO, also leaves behind some solid protection and also made the surface feel a great deal slicker. The beading was good too for an AIO:

The film was looking much better:

The rest of the car was treated to a further layer of Zaino Z2 Sealant:

This was followed by a Z6 Wipedown, Z8 and Z16 was used on the tyres. Further Mint Rims was also added to the alloy wheels.
