4 or 6 Braided Hoses

What are your opinions on 4 or 6 hoses? Are 6 required and what do the extra 2 replace?

TIA

I'm not 100% sure on the rears. But on the front, one each side does the job.

On the rears, iirc if you buy a set of four, the ones for the rears replace the inner brake holes over the rear beam, not at the wheel. So maybe the set of 6 also replaces the final hoses at the rear wheels.

Someone who's fitted a 6 will be able to confirm.

As you said the additional 2 replace the pipes to the rear calipers

The normal 4 piece kits are what you’d expect for the front, and the rears are 4” long and go between the chassis and the beam.
The 6 piece kits are as above, but with lines which go from the beam back to the rear callipers.

I’ve a 4 piece and never had an issue on track.
