My son’s car has an oil leak coming from the joint in the gearbox casing. So it needs taking apart and a new gasket, or something like that. The oil leak is quite bad.
The box had new syncros done about 6 years ago, so it all works fine. So ideally he doesn’t want to pay for a new box.
Can anyone recommend someone who can help with this please? Our mechanic can take the box out, but doesn’t want to take the box apart. The car is near High Wycombe.
