200 diffuser on a 197

Hi,
in order to place an Akrapovic, I have to change the diffuser for a facelift one. Does somebody have the right partnrs of all the components I have to order? I saw a diffuser for 900€ and another for 300€ (clio cup). I am confused..,

The Akrapovic, will fit the original slash cut diffuser but you will need to extend the tail pipes with an exhaust trim I have one fitted to mine the max exhaust tip for the old diffuser is 3" otherwise it will touch the diffuser holes. Do no cut the original Akrapovic ends if you can mine came used and had been cut so I put better tips on.

Modified 197 exhaust to 200 diffuser the tips in my view need more work as the hot gas can go downward and melt the diffuser a lot of people buy 200 diffusers without heat shielding and melt them because they don't think how much heat the exhaust gives out.

Then you can get the above like Turkie did and slash cut to match the OEM exhaust (use your OEM as a template)

I have a oreca exhaust and was going to fit a 200 diffuser to mine. So very useful to see these pictures. Thank you!

So I have a 200 Diffuser on my 197.

I originally had a Miltek exhaust and it melted and rattled as it touched the chrome rings.





I then took the Miltek off and changed my 197 Back box for a 200 back box and fitted Akro carbon rings.

So I ordered a used diffuser in France. Paid 750€ with shipping and it got lost…(!). Still ongoing. It says delivered on the track and trace. So frustrated. I also ordered a ragazzon backbox to go with it. Hopefully it turns out well.
