197 wishbone

Any one changed a 197 wishbone, mine needs doing and I wondered how much of a pain it's going to be

Haven't done one on the 197, but it should be failry simple. Couple of bolts holding it to the car, ball joint attaching the hub and the stabilier link (little short horizontal one)

Out of interest, why are you changing it?

The balljoint has failed and getting a lot of steering play

Fiar enough, i've got some play in mine at the minute too, but i've put mine down to the inner track rod joint

mines defo the bottom hub joint, and being you have to replace the whole arm at 190 quid im not v happy lol

I'd heard you could get the balljoints from RS?

519 and Ktec and Renault both say new arm , I'm sure u can press them out tho
