speed limiter

Hi there, I have a 2010 renault clio which has cruise control and speed limiter. it used to work when i bought the car but no longer does when i flip the switch down by the handbrake it pops up on the dashboard but when i go to set it on the steering wheel nothing happens. does anyone know why...

The speed limiter works fine. When I flick the rocker to cruise control the digital display changes to: Cruise Control --mph So all looks ok. But the + button doesn't set any speed, and no other steering wheel button does anything. What should I look at? Clutch/brake switch thing that would...
