As title states, had the synchro's replaced yesterday and they weren't the only thing that were broken, it would appear the selector fork for the 3rd and 4th gear movement had broken a side of its jaw. Luckily had one lying about at the time but would like to replace the shaft to build another...

I'm trying to remove the plastic from around the centre console, vents and the three strips in my 197 to respray them. What is best to get them out? - I have tried prizing the corner, but I don't want to force it if there is something that needs unscrewing! Cheers
