sorted it. it werent the fuse, something musta happened in the circuit somewhere that shut it down. i disconnected the battery for 10-15seconds, then reconnected and pressed the on button, punched in da code an all is ok :)

does anyone know who makes the silicon skins u can get for iphones/ipods but for a macbook pro. i want to get my gf one to go with her mac for xmas but cant find em :/
