yep, what bothers me is that I have provided them with the cam timing tools and the camshaft details but they still managed to mess it up...

Just an update, have found out that previous mechanic timed it using factory figures instead of what cat cams requirement, possibly looking at bent valves and damaged pistons as the other shop has found leaks on intake and exhaust valves...

Hi, Do you know what would be the correct installation procedure for these camshafts, incl how to time it right? I am having the same problem OP have mentioned, Rich AF ratio Low compression and low power, I have got the cat cams timing tool but I just couldn't find any manual for the 402 cams...
