    Temp.

As stated before - your current stat has likely failed so you need to replace it. Recommended to replace it with the original 75deg stat and that will ensure your temps will run at ~75deg - which is correct.

    Temp.

For the record, the main reason others fitted the higher temp stats as opposed to the original 75deg stat is due to the cost difference. Original 75deg stat is more expensive.

    Temp.

All clio 197/200 have 75deg thermostat from factory (afaik). Some people have fitted the higher temp stats without issue but others have agreed the 75deg stat must have been fitted for a reason, likely because were close to 200bhp out of a N/A 4cyl engine and it requires a lower temp stat to...

FYI - buy a genuine one to avoid fitting an incorrect stat!!!

    Temp.

Should sit on or just under the third line on the temp gauge. If it goes down when you're driving and back up at stand still, you have a failed thermostat and need to replace. it's a simple job, ~30 minutes at most. :)

Oil, break fluids, coolant and spark for track.

Can't go wrong with genuine Renault oil, filter, coolant and plugs. I've done plenty of track days without any issues. Brakes and tyres are the game changers. At minimum (my recommendation) you'll want braded brake lines on the front with some decent pads (I use PBS ProRace Performance Brake...

    Bleeding ABS - HELP :')

This is crazy - I've bled my brakes so many times with the sealey pressure bleeder kit without an issue... I've changed front and rear callipers at different intervals and re-bled, installed braded lines and re-bled, removed fronts to get the shitty pins out and replace for mr pinks which...

    Bogging/misfire under load at 2-3k

Check your flexis in your manifold. Common that these split and cause exhaust leak, which has a noticeable change to the flat spot, including misfiring.

    Bogging/misfire under load at 2-3k

It's often referred to as a "flat spot". There are plenty of posts relating to exactly the same symptoms and they usually occur when you have changed the exhaust to something other than stock. The only way to get rid of it is to stick the stock exhaust system back on. Remapping usually...

    perhaps missfire?

Whilst you could be right RE possible contaminated fuel, I still think you should look into the plugs and coils... Common issue that points towards your problems and it's 10 minutes to check fella

    perhaps missfire?

Sounds like either bad fuel or could just be coincidence and perhaps your plugs/coils are causing the issue... I'd recommend having a check of the coils and plugs, specifically coil & plug 4 (often confused as 1, but it's the first one on the left if looking into the engine bay)... Do some...

    STOP - “Low Battery” warning

I've read this up - There's 2 wires that look similar on the clio vs the meg lumps but I believe you need to swap the wires with the oil temperature plug or something along those lines.... Just looking for the link now and will post it when I've found it...

    Lambda sensor issue

There are 2 sensors, one for the manifold cat and the second goes into the secondary cat. Yours has neither cats and requires mapping. Did you replace the top sensor or the bottom one? Or both? Swap them around and see if the fault changes - if it does, you need to replace the other sensor...

    Lambda sensor issue

Check the plugs on the car loom (including the wiring). These can sometimes come loose from the fittings and drag over speed bumps etc causing damage to the wiring. The plug may also have corrosion due to water ingress - give it a clean and spray some contact cleaner/WD40. Have you got...

    200 missfire no codes

Got anybody close by who has known working coils and plugs? Swap the over... you said in your first post that unplugging 1&4 stalls quicker than unplugging 2&3... perhaps you've got a duff coil or faulty plug? Have you had it scanned by a proper scanner and had somebody who knows what they're...

    Exhaust heatshields

I haven't removed any of the heat shields but, curious for the future; If I wrapped the exhaust in heat-wrap and used heat-shielding tape (like the gold stuff you normally see over intake pipes etc) where the shielding was originally, would that be a suitable alternative? I've no care in the...

    200 missfire no codes

You 100% sure the plugs were genuine and the correct ones for the F4R engine? Coils and injectors, were they brand new and genuine renault? Same goes for Lambda sensors.... Cam sensor might be worth looking at. I think most people pull theirs out and clean them up with some success... Have...
