Sooooo 8j would really require a et50 Both in 17s and 18s To be equivalent to 7.5j et45 ?

I worked et as 68 standard - 19mm spacers which im running so i would need et49 ? Is et measured in mm ? If so et45 would be 4mm more poke then im running now ? Is this correct ? Sorry

Definitely not wanting stretched chavy tyres ! So 17 or 18 x 8j wont fit ? Without rubbbing ? I saw some one running 18 megane alloys and a raider comes with 18s are these 7.5j then ?
