Does anyone know anything about this chipping company? I've just stumbled across them & they quote some good gains on the 200 & mega gains on the 220 (which I thought could not be mapped or chipped)...
All of them do it. Its so that you can move the gear stick out of park. You might have noticed that the stick won't move if you don't have you foot on the brake coming out of park going into reverse, neutral or drive...nothing to worry about! :tongue_smilie:
I really struggled to watch this. The box on the new 2016 200's & the trophy is streets ahead of the one in my cousins cooper S & the earlier 200 edc. Some people just like shooting the new Clio down
I'm intrigued to know what yours goes like. Have you thought about recording some ingear pulls (up to the speed limit and somewhere safe obviously) just to give people an idea of the difference?
But at the end of the day its the in gear performance which impress the most. I've noticed that the standard car tends to feel a little flat at times when they are new, but improve quite a bit after a few 1000 miles
Thats very impressive and tempting...6.2 is also very good but I do wonder how accurate the R.S monitor is. The majority of cars usually do it in 6.5 to 6.8
Try & change down to second gear under heavy braking for a sharp corner and you'll start to feel the frustration of the reviewers, it just doesn't give you a gear. That's where the biggest improvement is felt in the 220. ( I've driven both)
