So went to renault and got a free health check today, knew a ball joint was on its way out so they found it obviously. They quotes £589 just for the near side hub ball joint, i know it comes as one but come on? They sell the ball joint on ebay or k-tec for 60/70 quid so might go down that route...

Got my car diagnosed today through my warranty then they eventually said they wernt going to cover it, but anyway i need a lower swivel joint done and was wondering if there is anywhere in particular people go to around the area? There is obviously Renault themselfs but they want £179 for it...

right ive just passed an Mot and had a service, there is a very loud creeking noise when i turn my steering to the right, i have told renault but they cant find anything, bugging the hell out of me! Click the link and i have attached a video, please someone help!

White megane sport cup driving through aviemore today at about 6ish!

So after a £400 Mot and a puncture, (two new tyres) i thought i would clean my Clio 200. Bit disheartened but its all worth it when you have a nice clean car!

My Clio 200 will need its belts done this year and im wondering where the best place to go is? Would like to know where other people got theirs done and how much it was, im based in Aviemore but would travel around a bit if it going to be cheaper than what renault are quoting!

My 200 is giving me lots of grief at the moment, decided to look at the first which is a locking wheel at the back. I looks and the handbrake isnt releasing after being on, now it looks like its the arm that is siezed up, but im thinking its maybe the cable itself is siezed inside the casing...

About a foot of snow in 24 hours, still not been stuck yet and dont even have snow tyres, clios doing well so far, wasnt expecting it to be as good as it is.

My clio 200 says the oil level needs topped up on the dash board, which oil should i get and is it as easy as just topping up and mixing with the old oil? I think its elf 5w40 evolution but not 100%

Is it best to just get the cambelt done around the 71k mark for my 200? Or can you do it early? Because im on 50k miles now an theres a slight whine from the front when i take the foot off the accelerator, so maybe better to be safe than sorry?
