Anymore progress on the Clio?
I'm booked on at Bedford August 12th for the Renaultsport evening and Goodwood for Origine RS August 20th, would be good to see both Storm Grey turbo's on track!
Good to see the thread is carrying on, I have the almost identical Clio, Storm Grey with Megane conversion and I've just fitted a full Safety Devices cage this weekend.
Looking forward to seeing your future plans!
Sorry for the late reply..
Big change of plans, I will now be looking to sell the 250 engine instead. I won't bore you with the reasons why.
DM with any interest, I will have the loom, turbo, ecu etc.
So cool that you've gone back to an Alien Green 200, I remember reading through this thread a few times and wanting my old AG to look the same as your old one did!
Look forward to seeing the progress.
A few reasons tbh, I got the engine at a really good price that it technically shouldn't cost me anything to change, allows me to also sort a few niggly bits in the process and also a slight increase in power with a more reliable engine. glenn3
Having just bought a 250 engine I no longer need my R26 block which is currently in my Clio 200. If you're already in this section you'll know it's a relatively straight forward conversion.
No issues with the engine hence why I am putting up for sale whilst it's still in the car so that people...
Who mapped the car out of interest, also curious about the 15hp calculation?
I'm guessing you've got an R26/225 engine, what power did you end up with?
Definitely, it really brings a different feel to the interior. Both my Megane friends say it's the best thing they've done to the cars.
So I've paid a £50 deposit and will pay £95 when I collect and have it fitted, so £145 fitted and he takes my old steering wheel. You don't have to do it this...
Will be collected and fitted Thursday 21st so will get a picture up then. Yeah definitely, looks much better with a strip at the top, Clio wheels look much better with the silver trim at the bottom IMO.
Turn around is 2 weeks, Here's a few pictures for reference. The Megane one is my friends, two of them have had it done and both say it transforms the interior. I'll be getting the same as the Megane picture but dark grey stitching to match and putting the Renault Sport trim at the bottom.
