I'm getting a k-tec map this week someone has advised me to avoid them what are your thoughts???

Are there 2 different types of engine fuse boxes 1 for a normal key and 1 for a key card?? Also what's the difference would you just not be able to start the car??

My drivers side dipped beam isn't working but my passengers side is all other lights work aswel I took the whole headlight unit off and pluged it in the passenger side and it works so it's nothing to do with the bulbs or headlight unit it's self iv checked all fuses in the box on the right hand...
