    Hello from 133.net

    I'll try, but, once Paul gets the bodies fitted and mapped, I'm not sure theres much more work to be done :glare:

    Hello from 133.net

    I haven't been able to watch it due to the rig internet, but Simon from Specialist Components sent me this link now he has finished sniffing the can bus and wiring in one of their Tornado ECUs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4ttR1UBBVU Frankendini is alive and ready for the bodies :)

    Hello from 133.net

    Should be sneking under a tonne now, although I need to get it on a weigh bridge. Yes, theres a couple of F4R and F4Rt conversions about in various stages of completeness but mainly ongoing projects. I wasn't tempted by a conversion... I was tempted by nitrous but couldn't get a reliable...

    Hello from 133.net

    Thanks Lee, Fernandez :) From the last runs out with the 197/200 lads, before the seat swap, it was a reasonable match for a 197 or 200 With the amount of stones that get flung up from our wonderfull Scottish roads, I'm keeping the front mudflaps on and I think that makes it look silly...

    Hello from 133.net

    A couple of minor changes :s 4.6Kg for the bar, so not too bad ~12.5Kg for the each seat, inc mounts and harnesses 36Kg removed for the pair of rear seats, 21.2Kg for the passenger seat and 22.7Kg for the drivers side. So thats ~50.3Kg lighter overall :) With 20 hours sat in them for their...

    Hello from 133.net

    Probably way over due an update to the progress... As there was still no options for replacement cams for the later K4M engines, I bought a replacement cylinder head and sent it away on holiday to Belgium for CatCams to work on some profiles. I'd already seen the casting of the inlet ports...

    Clio -> Twingo

    I dont do much town driving, or realy thrash it. Overall average was about 34 mpg compared to the 200 which I had for a day and got 28 from with similar driving. Post mods im down to 32mpg but still having fun. Mid 30s seem to be the forum average but 19 and 50 have been posted before now... it...

    Clio -> Twingo

    If you get over the rattles (every twingo seems to have one or two) and the upright sseating position, they are great fun to drive, even when lacking the pace of a 200 you will get a decent smile on your face from a good backroad run. Long motorway runs arent its forte as the gearing puts it at...

    Alignment Values? (workshop manual)

    If the alignment centers -0°05' (+/- 5') it toe angle per wheel and the manual is refering to total toe of -0°12’ ± 12’ then theres not much difference between them (0°02’ which is like 0.2mm over an 18" wheel).

    Hello from 133.net

    Yep, a few Twingo owners have traded up and come here and a few from here have traded down and joined us lowly powered Twingos :rofl: ;)

    888's compared to other track tyre's for road use

    I'm still getting used to the AD08s on my RS133. With this recent burst of sun, most of the time, they seem to have more grip than I have bottle. Even before the sun, when it was peeing down for weeks, the grip was generaly better than all season BFG profiller G

    Any plans for your Clio for FCS???

    I think Europl8 will be at this years show. I got my plessed plates from them at last years event at a reasonable show price. All BS marked, legal font and spacing etc even supplied with a few sticky pads . Appart from a small stone mark, they look just as good now.

    64mm enlarged TB finally fitted.

    Is the face seal still good? The one on the TB which seals against the intake plenum. Air leaks anywhere from the TB butterfly to the valves will cause uneven/high idling and quite often a high pitched whistle. Otherwise, it may be the stepper motor in the TB as you suspect

    Would you replace?

    if theres any sign of bulging on the side wall which would indicate carcas damage or or any threads are visible, then yes. A small cut into the thick rim protection band, probably not.
