IMO It's too expensive considering the cost of the Megane conversion. Also how long have they tested it on standard internals? I'd be more inclined to save the extra money and give it to ClioTurbo for forging and boosting, their first setup offers 30bhp more at the same cost too...

In my ownership I've only ever ran mine on VPower, stick inside the fuel cap says 98 IIRC. Only ever put £10 of normal in once when I was in the middle of nowhere haha.

Take the carbon off and clean/polish the paint underneath, looks miles better IMO :wiz:

Could be worth a phonecall to MyTyres and see if they can explain the difference? I'm considering a set for summer but may just get NS-2R's again.

How much are they a set? I don't track my car but I had the 180 compound Nankang NS-2R's on my car last year and they were unreal in the dry and they do a 120 soft compound designed for track. Could also look at Federeal 595 RS-R's, they're both about £240 a set on Tyreleader.

You are much better off going to a specialist and not through a dealer, I'd be very surprised if they go much lower in terms of contribution and that price is astromical. I had mine repaired by an ex Renault mechanic with a new clutch fitted and full service for £650 + Clutch price as I bought...

The prices are all over the place at the minute, there was one on facebook the other day with recaros for something silly like £7.5k. £5750 seems more than reasonable, if you have proof of repairs etc I'm sure someone would offer you around £5500.

Renparts Cit-ren Ebay - Breakers - There are a few on there at the moment various colours, I inquired to 2 about door handles and they said they had basically full cars still to strip. IIRC The door strips are the same on all Mk3 clio sports.
