either the above about the pistons or the pad is seizing inside the carrier, looking the pic of the pads in the carrier there is a hell of alot of dust build up which leads me to belive they havnt been stripped down and cleaned for a while. I always clean mine out once a year, removing the pads...

if its the top mount that bolts to the bulkhead it shouldnt be too costly as its very easy to change

Do you hav a flat spot at around 3700-4000rpm? Only asking because there seems to be a drop in bhp and torque at that rpm on the graph, doesnt just flaten out but actually drops down? Is this a normal characteristic of these cams?

Sounds like it could be the top engine mount on left hand side of the engine bay, also hav this knocking noise
