Got my car in the garage to have new front pads fitted (weren't confident enough to do it myself) and it was a good job I did take it in. They had to strip off calipers cut pins just to get pads out. Guys, Need advice. should I put spacers on? I am thinking 16mm or 20mm. will they affect the handling? where can I get them from don't wanna spend too much on them and wanna use my original bolts if I can. Any help appreciated. Cheers Rob

Just booked it in to get it checked (at the same time as I'm having my front pads changed! The famous front pads, fingers crossed they will be ok!

Is the fan belt less difficult / expensive?

It's 5 years old, I had the Campbell done last year but not sure if the did the fan belt, I don't think they did.

This might sound like a thick question... When I start my car up it's developed a squeak, it's only when it's cold and stops after about 5-10mins. Is it the fan belt? If so how do I fix it. Any guidance would be appreciated

My brakes are pretty poor too much as you describe long travel before they bite. How difficult is this work is it something simple enough to do myself or should I take it to a garage?
