Where abouts are you? Might be worth seeing if you can swap sensors with somebody who's is known to be working to see if this is the fault. By the sounds of it, RPD may have (unknowningly) sent you a duff sensor or the error you're reading is pointing you to the sensor but maybe it's something...

Honestly, the prep and space you paint in are the most important parts. Spraying with a can is super easy and patience is key. Saves you a few quid and if you have some spare time on your hands, it'll give you something to do!

Appreciate the photos and explanation, but my question is; does this do anything performance wise? Does it affect performance negatively or positively? Also, a few comments up I linked a blanking plug, what/why would that be a "thing" and are their any reasons why you'd want to blank that off...

I would advise paying for a membership - it's peanuts compared to the amount of use you'll get out of it. Also, I can't be certain but I think paid members have access to a full PDF of the Clio service manual - this includes a fair whack of detail, the PDF is around 100MB.

Great idea but it's way to pricey for me... You'd be better off buying a Samsung tablet or something and hooking that up to a single-din head-unit. I have a Pioneer head-unit with DAB, BT, all the other trimmings etc and it was only £99. Essentially, I reckon I could get a shit tonne more...
