Going to run my car in a few sprint/hillclimb days next year, but road going classes I'm looking at don't allow rose jointed top mounts. I know you can buy lower arm camber and castor bushes that will help a little, but does anyone know of any thing else available off the shelf to increase...

Do you find you actually need to then? Can't say I've ever really found it helps in a fwd car.

Do they have to be 1a then? Can use both 1a and 1b in most road going formulas.

Neither Spax, B14 or the KW club sports are really 'track only' worthy. They are more fast road setups. AST will at least offer valve get and springs to suit a proper race/track setup, and I'm sure Bilstein and KW will also if you pay enough. Annoying really that so little is available off the...

As above really. Only ones I can find for sale seem to be the OMP ones, are there any other options? I'll make my own if needs be, but if there is a simple off the shelf solution I'd happily go for that. Also what do people use for harness points? If I make my own frames I'll incorporate them...

Complete waste of time... Running a oil catch tank will help stop the inlet side of things coking up and won't cost a fortune as a preventative measure...

There seems plenty of room both sides of the standard wheel/tyre combo, say 30 mm odd, so I guess most of the rubbing stories people have reported are those running 17 X 8 with wheels that have a lower ET...

That's not the 8" rim though, it's talking about the road car 7.5"!

Anyone got any contact details to purchase some of the 17 x 8 cup racer wheels? Take it they will clear coilovers without spacers? Would arches need rolling at all? Cheers Paul.

Quaife are good for the road, but I wouldn't use on track if there are other options... As soon as you hit a kerb and lift a wheel something plated is required so you still have drive!
