It's also dry which is a huge benefit. As the moisture increases the problems, we have all seen the water come from the air lines at garages.

Had a trophy for 3yrs when they were new & no faults. 197 is a better car all round & on track the trophy's brakes are shot in no time. T will give more mpg & may feel quicker but 197 Cup is so much fun especially on the ragged edge:D

One of the best tyres i've ever used. Stiffer sidewalls means better turn in slightly stiffer ride. In the dry you will not find the limits on the road. Wet as good as most but no one drives 100% on wet roads anyway.

I ditched the contis after 1600 miles & run Hankook Rs2's. Awesome tyre, even when i compare to my r888's & they drone like a bitch.

Just toying with not having such a good car while weather is pants, got better things to be doing than cleaning GW in the winter. Also maybe moving soon to bigger house & the Cups paid for so the money could be used for other things. Next yr i'll get another RS, unless i get my double garage...

With winter fast approaching toying with cashing the Cup in & replacing in the Spring. (either 200 or poss r26r) GW, Late 58, 4,700m, all options. Mint with as new Rs2 tyres. May even consider px with cheaper motor just for winter. What you reckon?
