Thanks Chris, it did concern me a little but I just thought that fluid consumption was normal after an extended period of time as brake pads get lower etc. I'll be sure to have a look around just to check things over though :)

Well I have topped up the brake fluid and the fault appears to have disappeared for now!

Thanks guys, I'll have a check of the brake fluid level tomorrow as a preliminary measure. Would be nice if it was something as simple as that.
