I think I'm convinced on trying pilot sports then - will hunt down some spare alloys for winters next year, only had the car a month! found this link tho > http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Renault/clio-197.htm quite interesting
Cheers for the replies - I'm down to Eagle f1s or pilot sports, any suggestions? I like the fact the michelins say 20% more longevity but the goodyears seem to have the best reviews?
Recovery companies are useless! I recently had the same problem (both headlights go simultaneously), changed them both and still working couple weeks later, weird!
haha, i realised i sounded stupid as i said that. Just feel like contis are a safe bet, always run them and only thing i can fault is their longevity but then that could also be my fault...
Cheers Fernandez but need need them fitted asap as its in the garage atm, and Deaks the cars got contis all round and it only needs the fronts done, don't have the budget to swap all four haha
Hi Guys, Just wondering if theres an official Nurburgring lap time for these? This website suggests its 7.45, faster than a m135i which can't be right!

Sorry if theres already a thread on this - dash dials occasionally not illuminating when the lights are on, wondered if this was common and/or if there's a fix? cheers
Has anyone used something like this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ali-Brite-250ml-Alloy-Aluminium-Cleaner-Restorer-/141450126187?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item20ef15a36b - to remove the white dusty type corrosion on the engine casing? seems like quite a common problem with 197/200s? Il get round...
New to the forum, and 197 ownership -
Cleared the scuttle, thanks to the thread on here - drivers side was blocked but not too bad.

Plan to keep the car original and clean as possible.
Hi, could anyone point me in the right direction - dipped beam (both sides) have stopped working suddenly, don't know where to check fuses or even where to start looking for possible causes? Any help much appreciated!
